About Us
The best for your furry friend.
Doggieland proudly provides cage-free, clean doggie Boarding, Grooming and Day Care as well as Training and Retail for our doggie friends. We believe that when dogs socialize freely and naturally with each other, they are happier and healthier. Boasting approximately 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space combined on 3.5 acres at our Vaughan location and approximately 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space combined at both our Toronto locations, dogs can run around, play with toys, interact with other friends or just relax in one of our resting areas. We welcome dogs to stay for as long as they need to. Whether it’s for a few hours or a few days, overnight guests at Doggieland Vaughan sleep comfortably in private, floor-to-ceiling kennels.
Doggieland boasts 24/7 staffing at our boarding facility in Vaughan and offers transfers between Vaughan and both GTA locations. Our hours are set to your convenience.

Sandra Shinton
Owner
“Think of us as a wonderland for Dogs”
Hi! My name is Sandra Shinton, proud owner of Doggieland. I’ve always loved dogs. Growing up, my family had a small Lhasa Apso, named Benji and until a few years ago, most of my experience had been with smaller dogs. That all changed in 2007 when we adopted Indy. My husband Derek and I visited the Humane Society and as soon as we laid our eyes on Indy, it was love at first sight. We knew we’d found the dog for us and he has enriched our lives incredibly. Indy is a mix of German Sheppard and Retriever and was just under a year-old when he joined our family. His wagging tail and bum and unique personality always puts a smile on my face.
Most dog owners I’ve talked to share that same feeling. Their pet is more than just “an animal” they are an important member of their family. I make sure that everyone hired at Doggieland shares this same attitude and I can assure you that our staff will always treat your dog with the same love, care and attention that they give their own dogs.
It’s extremely important to your dog’s mental and physical health that they receive daily exercise and activity. I know from experience as a dog owner, it can sometimes be hard to give your dog the activity they crave and require. Busy work and family schedules can make it challenging as does difficulties that come with our Canadian weather. Your dog doesn’t care if it’s raining, snowing or freezing cold outside – they still want to play!
Doggieland is the solution and I know it will become your dog’s favorite destination! At Doggieland your dog will have lots of fun and exercise with our staff, as well as interact with other dogs in a safe and supervised environment. The result, is a well socialized, satisfied and tired dog at the end of their visit.
Your pets are always in good hands...
