DAYCARE NEWS: New Pack Leader!
Effective November 1st, Heather Medhurst will become the new manager of the Fairlawn Doggieland Operation. Heather brings decades of operational and management experience to this role and will be working with Anne throughout the coming month to get to know you and your dog(s).She will continue to be supported by supervisors Connie and Kate and the rest of the hard working daycare staff. Anne will be continuing with the company on a part-time quality control and marketing basis.
SEASONAL NOTES: Coughs and Colds
We are entering that time of year when Kennel Cough sometimes rears its head. Make sure your dog has an up-to-date Bordetella shot. Should you notice any symptoms, see attached, please contact us so we can advise other dog owner’s a.s.a.p. and try to keep the pesky bug from spreading. This is also the time when dog’s paws start drying out from cooler temperatures. We recommend that your use “pawstick” (which we carry) or another pad crème to keep your dog’s pads from splitting.
GROOMING: We’re booking 4-weeks out
A reminder to book your next grooming appointment well in advance, especially for the holidays. For the month of December we will ensure maximum space availability for our regular clients by not taking any new clients until January 2015.

Demand has been so high on Thursday nights, that we will be starting extra Sunday morning training classes with When Hounds Fly at the Fairlawn location. Often we are approached for services that fall outside of regular daycare and boarding, For instance, a dog has just been neutered and needs home visits for a couple of weeks. Have a need? Just call us and if we can’t provide the service we will recommend someone who can.
